Phew~

WARNING: This is gonna be a looooong entry ! ^^ so i divided it to 2 parts for my shopping and lunch~

Haha ..i was all gloomy and down yesterday since my outing is kinda "short" like i explained ~

But there was just enough time for me to get most of the things i want ^^

The bus ride was FOREVER!!! since there were soooo many people and so many pick up points!

Usually it takes about 20 minutes or so to reach the city~ but today was a 1 hour waittt!!! *dies*

Lunch____________________

Anywayz ~ we got there eventually ~ and my frend suggested we go to this Korean restaurant ~

She mentioned that it was kinda expensive ~ more expensive than KR and Newyork newyork (which is already pretty pricy ne~)

But i figured that i need some kinda reward for myself just for one day ^^

it's a long story how we manage to find the place ~

We were walikng around in circles looking for the place ~

i walked past the escalator and we were about to exit the building when i noticed some LED lighting...you know, like the ones in airports (only more colourful and eyecatching)

I was wondering " wow ...nice sign " some unfamiliar words appear and i'm thingking.."eh!!"

might be korean written in romaji !

Then the word "KOREAN " appered ...followd by "restaurant"

i went "gyaaa" ..there it is ~ on the second floor !!

lol~

If it wasn't for the LED lights we would have ended up eating at Kyoyama ( or something~ can'r remember ! a japanese restaurant)

lol~

when we entered the restaurant ====> they were ALL koreans ...customers too!!

The owner and cook is Korean too~ both husband and wife seemed so happy that locals entered the restaurant!!

There were so kind and nice !!!

I mean if you enter a pricy restaurant people just : take order -smile- serve - bill- TQ (sometimes)

But this couple are so warm and welcoming ~

luckily there is a tiny amount of memory in the cam ~

as i was taking the photo : the owner himself served the menu ~ and

said "really nice view ya ?..i really like this too..really beautiful " *thumbes up*

The food ~

then Surprisinglyy! the price is resonable...even cheaper than KR!!!

I ordered the mix rice thingy where you have to mix it yourself ! and the wife came . Obviously she can't really speak english ~ just a few words ..no sentences!!

But then she tries her best using hand gestures to tell me what is what and helped me to mix the korean mixed rice!!!....

well if i explain every detail i will never end this blog!

we finish everything and they asked if the food was good !

Obviously it was super delicious!!!

cos we finished everything~!! down to the last grain of rice!!

and the tea~ =_+ i'll just stop here ~ lol

Shopping!

There were many shops but the either the service was bad or i didn't like the design ~ plus we were kinda in a time limit~

One of the stores had a few i liked but then the workers were rude in a way ~

plus ~ it didn't suit me~ XD

So~ finally i went to the place where i used to buy my clothes ( been ages since i stopped by there)

I found a few i liked but then was frustrated when they kept asking me to browse more befor trying coz the changing rooms were limited !! only 2 changing rooms !

One is occupied by this lady ~ she was trying LOADS of clothing ! around 10 pcs at a time( seriouslyy!!) and workers are still passing her diffferent patterns colours !!

Dang !

i was about to leave and go to my regular store D&M ~ but then the worker convinced me to wait~ i did

Ended up buying some 3 tops + one singlet (cheap and nice) to go with the white shirt i almost didn't buy!!

oh and my first leggings too!!!

then bought a pair of shoes ( fits nicely )

my friend was looking at scarves when an IDEA hit me~

Mao gave me some pointers!! haha

And this outfit ( that i almost didn't get) becomes my fav!! can't wear it during CNY ( white is taboo in some chinese minorities ..so blah)

BUT I LOVE ITTT!!

Mao gave me lot's of pointers ~

So all 3 outfits turns out to be a little over-sized~ and i'm not planning to wear skirts for nwe year!! since it's not my style ~

haha~

People have been going in and out to town and every now and then~

can you believe ! it's been 3 weeks and i've only been to the mall for lunch then back for tutorial class !

I'll be going out tomorrow but only for 3 hours or so!

i need to get tonnes of supplies for my APK project !

I enjoy these kind of stuff but not in a rushy kind of way !

i like to take my time looking and browsing !

So i'm planning to maybe go again on saturday??

oh when we got back form the restaurant in the afternoon we headed to the library ...

it just shows how multicultural this country is !!

On one side of the foyer , people are selling tickets for the "red packet's festival"

AMAZING actually...but i went too late and had to sit at the 2nd floor which just cuts back the fun !

I want to go this year too...but then i have no transport to get back and i don't want to trouble anyone ~

We have to sell stuff this semester ...and to make it worse : the selling of food is not encouraged so no gas or electricity will be provided

Monochrome~

Well "Monochrome"

What is the first thing that comes across your mind when you read this word?

I first heard this word in a Japanese songs. In fact, when you listen to a lot of Japanese songs ( especially J-rock) you can find that its quite common.

^^ its an explanation for a colour ~

when i first heard it from a song ~ i was thinking oh ~ must be coloourful.

I had no idea !

"MONO" single right??? lets just assume the "chrome " means colour ~...

Turns out ~ it means a different shade of the same colour ~ basically, black and white ~

Remember the days where there were black and white TVs??? there ~ that's monochrome ~ the different shades of black and white all accumulated together to form a real life picture ~

Come to think of it, my favorite colour is black and white ...how vapid ~ right??

frustration~ not an easy word or feeling to deal with ~

I wish i could just leave everything behind and run away ~

Or maybe just sink into a deep sleep , and wake up in a fairy tale world ~

Those that you know " there are hard times but the endings are always happy"

where you know that despite how harsh life is , there will be some sort of salvation...

The bad guys just die out , or turn good in the end ~ the main character , after suffering torment and hard life, gains friendship and also love ~

The reality is ...fairy tales doesn't exist ~

Here's is what i would like to wake up to ~ after that "sleep "

I was getting ready for a busy morning ~ took a look at the mirror and even smirked at myself.

Just as i stopped (smirking), someone calls me for breakfast ~

I let out a sigh of relieve as i wasn't caught acting silly ~ then smiled to myself as i walked down the hall way to the dining room ~

Breakfast was neatly laid on a turquoise coloured tablecloth

Someone served me my favorite drink ~ Fresh fruit juice

then asks "how's the song coming?"

i answer " um~i need more inspiration"

I take a sip of a perfectly brewed tea ~

then a bite of a chocolate muffin ~

We exchanged a few laughs ~

after breakfast, i flip through the book i had for ages ~

the book where i kept my thoughts, some odd doodles too ~

and of course ~ the songs that portrays my life ~

a serene feeling comes ~ and as i read through my thoughts , i remember what made me who i am today ~

all that pain, blood sweat and tears ...paid off ~

i run my fingers down the pages ~

letting out a silent almost unnoticeable giggle as i red my so-called "letters to Maya"

Somehow i could see some wrinkled spots , what was left of the tears that fell on these pages , preserved by the very surface that absorbed them ~

Life was tough ~

I felt a hand on my shoulder , i turned around and a cute smile enters the picture,

My band's vocalist told me that it was time to meet our mentors for a run through ~

She tossed me the keys to our van . I then gave her an unnatural grin as i won the "janken" the previous night on deciding who was gonna drive ~

Upon arriving at our studio , we were greeted by bows and "ohayo"s ... we did the same in return .

We met up with our drummer , the serious one , and then our bassist the funny one ~ we manage our own band ~ We get our clothing line from our established mentors and their brand "Gurucho"

Today was studio work !

I was working with my senpai...Aiji-san on the guitar sound ~

I was sitting on an armless office chair with one of my many electric guitars ~

My mentor sits behind with the paper i handed to him last week ~ which he approved of after i spruced it up ~

I then strum a few chords to give him an idea of what the tune and tempo would turn out to be ~

he gave me a few pointers~

" ja jugujugu jang jugujugu jang~ ....the ending would sound better like that" doing an air guitar ,while mimicking the sound of the guitar ...

i nodded and strummed the pattern out....

i hit rewind on the tape recorder i had in front of me and listened to myself strum ~

"it could be better " i thought to myself...

Sure enough my mentor was on the same page ~ " just let the last part sound instead of stopping it..jang jugujugu jang jugujugu janggggg~" he brush his right arm across his lap as if he had a guitar .

i payed the final chorus and did what he said ~ yes. it sounded perfect ~

It only felt like an hour or so but a whole days work has passed ~

we were to work the next day with the bass and drum sounds then recording starts after that~

"Life is busy but fun in a way ~"

I finished my blog and clicked "publish post"

As i did , i heard some sort of commotion going on outside

the others already made plans for dinner ~

I, of course, was dragged along too...

we enjoyed talking about work

we discussed the clothing line and our costumes . it was our vocalist favorite part in releasing a new single ~

Oh..and of course ~ the annual tour ~

As i finish the last sip of my "sake "( the only alcohol drink i can handle ) i recalled the first time we did and opening for a concert ~ it was a life changing one ~

I was in full costume ~ the make up the hair ~ and the custom made ESP guitar given to me ~

Ah but life is here ~ in front of my laptop ~

worrying about home and some dallied assignments ~

the future is set~

I will one day be bound to society ~

A government's property ~

being groomed to be what i was meant to be all along...

Being groomed to be what flows in this blood of mine ~

fairy tales never existed and never will exist ~

this is life and also the reality that we have to face everyday ~

For a girl that wants to run away from reality , it really sucks~

I will hence sink into this shell of mine and work my way around this cruel and painful world ~

Hopefully when i am groomed and made into a person i was destined to be , i will come back to life ~ and find some happiness ~

as for now~ happiness seems so far away ~

I'll try my best ...even if i feel like running ~

It was an accumulation of everything ! The stress the worries , so much more ~

That's why i took today to forget everything ~

Out for the first time

Went to the mall for the first time this semester!!

Most of you out there probably went in and out of campus a few times ^^""

Believe it or not, its been 3 weeks and this is the first time Iv'e been out!!!

It was short lived because i was bound for tutorial class at 5pm.

Had lunch , then went window shopping .

Only spent money on Lunch. Its been ages since i had a proper meal. Come to think of it, i haven't had rice since Monday. Yea , the chicken rice the other day ~

^^"" i seriously have to take better care of myself!

oh ~ Lunch was ...jajaja~

Kenny Rogers !!...This is my first time in Kenny Rogers ~

The price is reasonable : RM19.90 for 1/4 of a chicken , plus 3 side dishes.

we ordered and shared a glass of chocolate milk too ^^

Got a" sugar rush" when i was trying to wash down the chocolate muffin with the milk chocolate @_@

After a reasonably quick lunch , we went window shopping. Just to get an idea of what i would like for a new year outfit! Chinese New Year of course!!

Hmm~ i'm thinking ...A top over my waistline , with a lolita like trimming and layered lace ~ saw a few . But too bad , it's black ( A taboo for cNY) . I fell in LOVE with one of em' big T-shirts !! but AGAIN!! it's black! and it would burn a HUGE hole in my pitiful pocket.

ARGH!! i love black and white ! and both colours are a taboo to wear at home considering the "situation".

So.... change of topic ( a more boring one that is...)

I woke up dead early with only about 3 hours of shut eye ! Why you ask??...Wrote a turorial assignment out of topic...so i have to "revamp" a few parts ~

Anyways ...i woke up at 5.30 to get ready for the morning bus rush ~ managed to (but barely) squeeze into the 7.15 bus ~ morning traffic ..blah blah blah~ you know the rest~

Got another assignment in and then headed straight to my so-called second home ...the all- so- familiar and seemingly beloved library ( forgive my sarcasm) .

oh~ maybe not sweat ,lol, coz you'll freeze here without a jacket !! haha

started "scavenging" for books and found a few ~ YAY for me ~

It was a gut wrenching 2 hours and 30 minutes of Japanese lessons and YEAHHH! the superb lunch!

headed back at 4 sharp...i can't describe how lucky we were to catch the bus when tonnes of people were waiting for the bus just a few minutes before we went~

What happened between the bus ride from the main lecture halls and the library was unpleasant!

Got a message stating that there's a meeting on at the foyer .

Had a comfy tutorial class and ...urgh~ the bus waits on rainy days~

Seems like the weather is getting nice ~ ^^ yeah ~ i like rain ~...but not too much (yeah~ me and my weather talk * rolls eyes*

Anyway ~ hope you guys have a nice weekend ~

Dear Aiji,

Everyone has a day where everything goes wrong~

I live most of my days with worries and dark clouds hovering above my head ~

But you know~ i just ate my first meal for today. And its already 6.40 pm!

The amzing thing is I don't feel hungry ---> I don't feel weak ---> i didn't finish my food ---> the food is nice and expensive ...

and the wired part is ~ it's tasteless ----> had to wash it down with milk~~

and plain water taste absolutely delicious ~

Which makes it hard , when people don't compromise your "mood swings" . When people think that that's who i really am ~ " a girl with a temper"

Yea ...then go about spreading stuff like that around~

Sometimes i feel like dying early is the best thing that could happen to a person ~

Exausting & Painful day

Gosh~

7 hours of classes could really kill!! 3 lectures and 1 tutorial class. Monday is really a gut wrenching day!! I forgot how it was like to feel exhausted ! urgh! and my back hurts like hell~ the NS fall side-effects are kicking in ...

Anyways!! since i spent basically the WHOLE ENTIRE DAY IN CAMPUS, i took a few pics ^^ YAY!

The soup was nicer and heart warming (since the air-conditioning was really getting the chill into my bones and aching back) ....was too tired to take a picture.

Ah~ as everyone goes by their busy days ~ we stop and try to catch a falling star ~

Now i know what Maya meant when he told us that ~ we stop and wish ne~

But then ...we never really stop and look at the beauty surrounding us ^^.

Might be really hard at times, but i think i can start liking campus life again ~

The dog there is a Christmas gift from sis back in 2006 when i was really missing home (away in NS) it says "hug me " on the T-shirt!!

The turtle is a HP holder plushy ..i really love this to bits coz its useful and cute! was a gift from my dearly beloved friends

The mushroom is a Mario original (i'm guessing) bought it in China for RM 7 bucks ^^ (also a HP holder)

owh~ i came back with news from Aiji-san too ^^ glad that he is okey.

He is currently working hard !! hence the hiatus ...

Full fledge day tomorrow

Tomorrow will be a full day of lectures !

Never had that tight of a schedule before. In fact ,last semester, i had 6 subjects from monday to

Saturday. meaning one lecture per day~ No tutorial classes if you exclude the 3 hour classes~

Sigh~

I hope i survive tomorrow! If i was still staying in-campus it would be easier to get back for a quick bath and to refresh ~

Let me just lay out something that is pretty obvious in life ~

The pro and cons of life , in and off campus ~

hmmm~ so how shall i start ~ i know ...with

In-campus pros

1. No transportation worries

2. No food worries ( coz the cafeteria is just there )

3. Not lonely (with friends roomates and all)

4. Get important news ASAP

Off campus pros!

1. No bored/expensive/tasteless/MSG loaded foods ~

2. FREEDOM

3. Peace and Quiet

4. Awsome internet line

5. Privacy

6. Don't feel trapped all the time

well you guys can figure the cons right ~ just switch the two around and add or erase the "NO"/"Not", "Do's " and "dont's " ect ect ~ word in front and there you go! you do the maths !

Pretty obvious why i moved out ne~ but transportation problems is driving me nuts!

oh well ~ Life hasn't been treating me all that well lately but i'm gonna tackle what lies ahead !
